# Contact form

A `contact form` is a simple way for your website visitors to contact you. With a form, you can gather contact information, kickstart lead generation for potential customers, or simply connect with your audience. All a visitor does is fill it out, and on form submission a message is sent straight to your email address.

### Getting Started

* Go to `Online store` → `Theme` > `Customise`
* By default, you will see you predefined list of sections
* To add the `Contact form` section, scroll to the bottom of the panel and `Add section`

#### How to use configure the Contact form section settings?

Machina is a modular based theme, meaning sections can be added to any page whilst the integrity of the site design is not compromised.

* **Top/bottom padding** - this controls the ammount of whitespace above and below this section
* **Color scheme** - pick a theme color profile to change the style of this section
* **Heading** - add a strong call to action to introduce the section
* **Text alignment** - change the alignment of text to either be Left, Center or Right aligned

#### How to use configure the Contact form block settings?

There are 5 block types that can be used, with a max of 10 blocks that can be used in total, which means you can create a customisable form with ease.

* **Name** - The name of the customer
* **Email** - The name of the customer
* **Phone** - The name of the customer
* **Textarea** - The question from the customer
* **Additional questions** - An additional question you would like to ask
