# Colors

Colors bring your site to life - they help draw attention to certain areas and can reinforce your storefront's branding.

Using the right color combinations will help leave a memorable impression, and should help conversions too!

### Getting Started

#### General

* Background - this is a color of all pages
* Body font - this is the color of all text such as the product description, menu etc
* Borders - the color of borders the seperate content i.e the menu

#### Buttons

* Background - the color options of the 'Add to cart' and 'Contact us' buttons
* Button text - the text color for buttons
* Background on hover - when you hover on a button, the color will change to this value
* Button text on hover - when you hover over a button, the text color will change to this value

#### On sale badge

* Background - when a product has a compare price, a label will show on products. You can change the color using this value.
* Body text - you can change the text color of this label to compliment the background color above.

#### Sold out badge

* Background - when a product is no longer available, a label will show on products. You can change the color using this value.
* Body text - you can change the text color of this label to compliment the background color above.

#### Pre-order badge

* Background - when a product has the tag 'pre-order', a label will show on products. You can change the color using this value.
* Body text - you can change the text color of this label to compliment the background color above.

#### Footer

There are 2 footer background color options, to offer versatility, giving you the option to have either a light ot dark schema which is currently setup by default

**Background 1**

* Background - the color behind the footer text and links
* Body font - the color of the footer text and link

**Background 2**

* Background - the color behind the footer text and links
* Body font - the color of the footer text and link

#### Email signup

* Background - the color of the entore section behind the form and text
* Heading - the color of the header i.e 'Subscribe to our emails'
* Subheading - the color of the text below the header
* Email form button - the color of the 'Subscribe' button

#### Cart

* Cart counter background - the color of the round icon on top of the cart bag icon
* Cart counter text - the color of the text inside the round icon on top of the cart bag icon

#### Alerts

When you add or remove an item from your cart, you will see an alert in the top right of the screen. You can change color options here.

* Notifications background - the color of the alert box
* Notifications body text - the color of the text inside the box

#### Cookies popup

You can enable cookies by going to `Theme settings > cookies popup`

* Background - the color of the cookies box popup
* Body text - the color of the text inside the popup
